Take a mixing bowl Add 1 cup maida, 1/2 cup semolina,1/4 cup sugar,1 tsp fennel seeds, a pinch of cardamom powder. Mix everything well Add 1/2 cup milk & start mixing Make a smooth batter by adding required amount of water Whisk well Rest for 30 min Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup by adding 1 :1 sugar & water Add saffron strings & cardamom powder Now deep fry batter by pouring it in a round shape When it turns golden brown, take out & put in sugar syrup for 10 min Enjoy delicious malpua
