This Soft & Chewy desert made with only 3 ingredients Sagoo, Sugar and with a note of Roohafza in it.

Rose Sagoo Cake

  • Sagoo
  • Sugar
  • Roohafza
  • Water
  • Salt


  • Clean & wash the Sago until water runs clear.Heat the pan add 1 cup water & sagoo. Cook it for 10 min & turn-off the gas.
  • Heat another pan and add 1 cup water, Sugar, Salt & Roohafza into it.Mix it well.Add cooked Sagoo in to it & mix it well. Cook it for 15 min
  • Then Fill the steamer with water & boil it. Grease the bowl & pour the sagoo mixture in to it.
  • Place the bowl in the Steamer.Let it cook for 30 min. Once cooked switch off the flame and remove the bowl from the steamer.
  • Allow it to cool for a few minutes & refrigerate it for 1 hour.. Serve it Chilled.


You can replace roohafza with Rose essence & pink food colour
