Rice kheer is a creamy aromatic Indian dessert probably the most common dessert that's made in every Indian household. I have given a delicious twist to the rice kheer by adding freshly grated coconut to it and trust me it turned out to be truly amazing. Made with a few ingredients this flavourful, rich, creamy and delicious coconut kheer is a must try during any festive occasions or parties
Coconut rice kheer
Freshly grated coconut
Full cream milk
Short grained rice
- Grind the grated coconut to a smooth paste using required quantity of water. Keep aside. Bring milk to boil in a heavy bottom pan, add soaked rice and cook till the rice is soft. Add the condensed milk and the coconut paste and let it boil for 10 minutes.
- The delicious kheer is ready to be served. Transfer the kheer to the serving bowl and garnish with the toasted nuts and relish the delicious coconut kheer
