  • Onion
  • Capsicum
  • Spring onions
  • Green chillies
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Garam masala
  • Chilli powder
  • Soya sauce
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Cauliflower
  • Rice flour
  • Cumin powder

Instructions

  • Take a small sized cauliflower and cut individual floret and keep it aside. Put the florets in a colander and run it under hot water for few seconds. Keep the basmati rice ready. Make sure the rice has to look into individual grains. In a wide bowl add gobi florets rice flour, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well. Now add 2 tbsp water so that the gobi gets coated well in masala. Heat oil in a frying pan. Now drop individual batter coated cauliflower florets in oil one by one. Fry them until desired color is achieved with cooked interior. When done remove the cauliflower using a slotted spoon and transfer it to a plate with paper towel. Slice onions thin, capsicum into julienne and slice green chilli. Now heat oil in a pan, add onions white part from spring onion and chili. Saute well. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute well. Now add chopped capsicum saute well. Now add garam masala, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt and soy sauce. Mix well. Now add cooked basmati rice and toss well. Now add fried gobi to the rice and mix well. Serve hot.
