- Wash & Soak urad dal & idli rice for 4 hours. Grind urad dal, idli rice & maravalli kizhangu separately. In a bowl pour urad dal, idli rice & maravalli kizhangu batter. Then add salt mix well & leave it for fermentation. Then add rice flour mix well. Heat a pan grease it with oil then take a ladle full of batter and spread it all over the pan. Then cook on both the sides and serve hot with chutney.
