Ingredients

  • 1cup -moong dal 4 -potatoes (boiled and peeled
  • as per taste Salt ,1 pinch Hing 1/2tsp- cumin seed
  • 1tsp -chopped ginger and green chili
  • 1/2tsp - Coriander powder ,1/4tsp -Turmeric powder
  • 1/4tsp red chilli powder ,1/4tsp amchur powder
  • 1tsp chopped coriander leaves ,as per need Oil

Instructions

  • Wash and soak moong dal in sufficient water for 1 hour. After 1 hour remove water and grind moong dal in grinder. Make smooth paste. Add a pinch of hing and red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix it
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seed. When it's crackled add chopped ginger and green chili and saute. Add boiled potatoes. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder and salt to taste and mix. Cook for a second. Add coriander leaves and mix. Remove from heat.
  • To make chilla heat a pan and add 1/ 2 tsp oil to it and grease the pan. Add 1 tbsp batter of moong dal and spread like a dosa.cook it on medium heat. Turn it over and cook it another side.
  • Keep some cooked potatoes on it. Fold it like a dosa. Cut it in half and serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
