Ingredients

  • 1 bunch spinach, 2 cups water
  • 2 tbspn oil, 1 star anise
  • 2 cloves ,2 peppercorn
  • 1 cinimmon stick, Few chopped coriander leaves
  • Few mint leaves, 2 green chillies
  • As per taste Salt, 1 Small piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp pulav masala, 1/2 cup Boiled corn
  • as required Leftover rice

Instructions

  • Firstly cut the stem of spinach and then in a pan add 2 cups of water and blanch the spinach until it turns softer Once done take out the blanched spinach in a strainer and pour some cold water.
  • In a mixer, jar add spinach, coriander, mint leaves, green chilli,1 tbsp of oil,a small piece of ginger and make a puree. In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil once the oil is heated add clove, cinnamon, star anise, peppercorn and sautee it for a min then add the puree and boiled sweet corn and cook it for about a min
  • Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,salt,Pulav masala and give it mix then add the cooked rice mix it.
