Tricolour Coconut Sondesh

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 4tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 drops green food colour
  • 2 drops orange food colour

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a pan, add grated coconut n sugar, cook for 10 mins on low flame.. Now add condensed milk n mix it well.. Cook for another 5minutes.. Atlast add cardamom powder n give it a good mix..switch off the flame.. When the mixture slightly cools down, divide into three portions.. In one portion add orange colour n mix it well.. Add green colour in the second portion n mix it well.. Third portion keep it as is.. Now take a small portion of coconut mixture n shape it as you like. I have given the shape of a leaf with the help of mould... Arrange the Sondesh as per your Tricolour order and place in the clay bowl..

The whole cooking process is on low to medium flame..
