  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Garlic 2 units
  • Tahini sauce 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin 1 teaspoons
  • Red pepper flakes 1 teaspoons
  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoons
  • Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Salt as per taste
  • Parsley for garnishing

Instructions

  • Add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and seasonings to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • While blending, slowly pour in the olive oil and water through the pour jar of the processor until hummus is creamy and smooth.
  • Garnish with additional red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil.
